As a Payroll Specialist you are responsible for providing the correct payroll input to our external payroll providers, perform the necessary controls on payroll output, answer questions from our business partners and set up/perform compliance controls. You are the main contact person for local colleagues and the local payroll provider. You are able to help and assist with relevant topics and questions.

You will mainly be working with our time registration software and suite of HR tools. From here, you will gather all the relevant data, convert it to a workable format and perform the necessary control tasks. We are continuously improving our systems and processes, and you will be an integral part of this journey.

Our HR Shared Service Center serves our country offices, for example with registering and deregistering employees, and payroll. The department consists of four teams, Employment, On- and Offboarding, Development and Payroll. We are currently looking for candidates to join the Payroll team. The Payroll-team focuses on ensuring a consistent and correct execution of payroll processes for several countries in accordance to SLA’s. In total, about eighty employees are active in these teams. In the past, the HRSSC has grown into an expertise center that offers international support to the various country offices. Functie eisen

  • Local payroll certification required plus a Bachelor degree or equivalent (pre)
  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role (must)
  • Experience within an international organisation (must)
  • Good, in-depth, wide-ranging knowledge and understanding of tax, social security legislation and payroll processes (must)
  • Experience in setting up (inter)national payroll administrations (must)
  • Strong communication skills in English (must)
  • Affinity with HR systems (pre)
  • Experience with SAP and Kronos is essential (pre)
